If you're looking to support small this year then look no further. We've put together a Christmas Gift Guide for you that features only Australian Female owned businesses!

There's something for almost everyone amongst these gems, so if you're having trouble finding the perfect gift for someone you love (and none of the products here at Simple Swaps fit the bill), then get clicking and support some amazing Australian Lady Startups this Christmas.

So let's go...............

Happily Zen have a divine range of candles, crystals, self care and wellness products. Holiday gift sets are available or choose from a great range of eco-friendly, non toxic goodies. There are some great stocking filler ideas too.

Rust Creative

Rust is a magical place that offers several different experiences for the creative soul. Self discovery journeys and mentoring to help you find your way in today's chaotic world and Viv now offers a 1/2 hr Intro to Your Human Design which would make such an amazing gift for anyone who's interested in learning about their Design type. And trust me, you do want to know about your Human Design. Think astrology on steroids. You will feel seen.

Rust also has a limited range of downloadable and physical products available.

Heart Therapeutics

For the tea lover. Organic herbal teas and accessories to guide you on your wellness journey. Their teas are naturopathically formulated and blended by hand in small batches to ensure quality and consistency. We love their products and also their commitment to sustainability.

Branches of Me

We love love love Lisa's products. Especially the Non-Paper towel which might not seem like your typical Christmas gift but they are a seriously beautiful and very practical addition to your kitchen. She has a range of ready to ship items or you can choose your own design to be made to order.  There are also toy car carriers, all kinds of wipes, snack bags, swim nappies and Lisa is  a stockist for Shampoo with a Purpose. Yet another great Australian Lady Startup. If you find there's too much to choose from, Gift Certificates are available too.

Pinky Square's bespoke timber home decor items are small, easy to ship and make the perfect stocking filler. Lots of super cute designs to choose from including a Christmas Collection

The Fairy Godnanny

We couldn't love this Melbourne based small business more if we tried. Courtney and Mel made the decision to pivot during the pandemic from a service to a product based business and they've done it with style. Turning their cleaning and nannying business into one that offers an ever growing range of products that fit with that theme. Again, cleaning products are not your typical Christmas gift but their laundry crystals are AMAZING and totally gift worthy. They also have a home decor and kids range and are adding new products to the store all the time.

While we're in Melbourne, have you heard of Melbourne Naturals? No matter your skin type, they have a face oil for you. Small batch, 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free. There's even a beard nourishing oil. Who doesn't love a pamper product for Christmas?

Clive Street

I'm sorry, but how cool are these bags and accessories that are made from 100% recycled materials! Sarah is completely self taught and creates stylish, high quality items out of materials once destined for landfill. Such a great initiative and it all happens in a Brisbane backyard. Seriously, you need to visit this store.

Cloth and Crown

For the new parents or parents to be, Cloth and Crown makes cute and quirky modern cloth nappies and accessories that support female artists, are ethically made and designed to make your cloth journey fun and worry free.  Heaps of cute designs to choose from and there's even a downloadable Beginner's Guide to Modern Cloth Nappies to help you on your way.

Are you all shopped out yet? It's totally fine if you are, we've just got one last thing to help you out.

Wrapped In Love are here to help combat the over 150 000km's of Christmas Wrap that goes to landfill each year in Australia. Yep you read that right. Wrap your gifts this year in Courtney's reusable fabric wrap, attach a reusable gift tag, write your note on one of her seeded greeting cards and you're good to go.

Honestly I could go on forever. We have an incredible amount of female owned small businesses in this country that deserve recognition, but we have to stop somewhere. I only hope that you've been able to find at least one thing you've been looking for from this small selection.

If you have any other suggestions of Australian owned Lady Startups that could use some support this Christmas, please let us know in the comments.

Until next time

Kylie x
